DESCRIPTION
Day 1: Airport transfer – Fes
We’ll meet you at Mohamed V airport in Casablanca and head towards Fes. On your way, you will be notified with the highlights of the tour. Overnight in a riad in Fes.
Day 2: Full exploration day of Fes
You’ll devote your time all the day to explore the eminent features of Fes. A local guide will take you to the ancient sites inside and outside the Medina; the Tanneries, Nejjarine fountain, Moulay Idriss mausoleum and EL Karaouine mosque. Lunch will be served in a traditional restaurant in the Medina. After that you’ll continue your tour by discovering the still-to-see sites and Fes Jdid (new city ) . Dinner and overnight in the riad.
Day 3: Fes – Midelt- Merzouga ( Camel trek )
This journey is full of explorations all the way to Merzouga.To start with, You will get to see Ifrane, the labeled Switzerland of Morocco, due its European building style. Then, we’ll cross the cedar forests and stop to see the rare monkeys of Morocco. Later on, we continue on the road till Midelt, where we’ll have lunch. It is a quiet city, famous for the cultivation of Apple fruits. After that, we’ll cross the Atlas mountains through Talghomt pass, while we enjoy the breath-taking panorama of rivers and streams. Before arricing in the desert, we will pass by Ziz gorges and valley in Tafilalet region. We’ll try to get to Merzouga earlier so that you have a little rest, before you ride the camels for the caravan adventure to the bivouac. You’ll be treated warmly by the camp’s stuff and have a lovely night amid entertainments. Night in atraditional tent.
Day 4: Merzouga – Todgha Gorges, Dades Gorges
You’ll get up at dawn to see the splendid view of sunrise, and then mount back your camels while enjoying the sand dunes panorama. You’ll have a shower and breakfast at the hotel, then take the road again to Dades Gorges. We’ll first have a break in Rissani, to stroll around the Souk that brings villagers and caravans of the region. After that, we continue towards Toudgha gorges, which is an ideal geographic area for climbers. Lunch and a little walk there. Later on, we continue to Dades gorges, situated by Dades valley. Night in a hotel.
Day 5: Dades gorges – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, we’ll step on the road of thousand Kasbahs, because of many fortresses on the road side villages. Passing by Ouarzazate, nicknamed Holywood of Morocco, because of the attractive film settings it offers. A few miles from there is Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO world heritage, and a special site for previous and prospective movies, including Babel, Lawrence of Arabia and the Physician. Lunch is near the Kasbah. After that, we continue the trip towards Marrakech, through the High Atlas Mountains, and reaching a peak of 2260 m. you’ll enjoy seeing the Berber villages by the side of the mountains along to Marrakech. Dinner and accommodation in a Riad.
Day 6 : Full exploration day of Marrakech
You’ll commence the city tour with most important sites and historical monuments, and then you’ll stroll in its beautiful gardens. You’ll enjoy the Menara garden with its basin, and also Majorelle garden, then you’ll have a close look at Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, Marrakech museum and the Koutoubia Mosque, After lunch, you’ll proceed with your exploration by walking around Djemaa El Fna square, which is the main square of the city, and a platform for artistic and cultural performances, while it turns out to be an open restaurant at night as stalks of roasts and juices. Afterwards, you’ll get into the Souk (traditional market) to see the craftsmen and their showcased productions. Back to the riad for dinner and accommodation.
Day 7: Marrakech - Casablanca (transfer to the airport )
After having breakfast, we’ll head up to Casablanca at your convenient time, depending on your flight time. See you off at the airport and wishing you a safe flight back.
